Everyone has a story to tell, strengths that brought them to their current place, and the ability to heal. At times we need additional support and encouragement to survive, adapt and thrive. Denise will work with you to explore your strengths, define your goals, and develop strategies to reach your goals. She utilizes a variety of treatment modalities including EMDR.
Denise has worked in mental health for over twenty years and was clinically licensed in 2018. Her clients commonly have complex histories that include violence, neglect, abuse, and chemical use. She will work with you on practical strategies to help you increase awareness, self-regulate, and strengthen relationships.
Specialties include trauma, sexual abuse, anxiety, anger management, emotion management, sleep disruption, gender, and life transitions.
